EMDR-remote 2.0

"EMDR-remote works great and on a technical level trouble-free. My clients think it's great that the session can start directly online, which has a calming effect. It is particularly useful for older clients, that no download is necessary. Due to the type of documentation, SUD / VOC, notes, session data, the therapeutic process can be better recollected at the end of the session. This makes things a lot easier: I can concentrate fully on the client and watch their reaction. The reaction task is particularly helpful for clients with high stress and for people with dissociative tendencies. I can better keep clients in the here and now. Personally, I have to say that the many possibilities for bilateral stimulation (visual and auditory) are very helpful, and that the program reduces the physical effort for the therapist, especially for clients who require very long bilateral stimulation. The therapeutic relationship online is viewed very positively by my clients and me. Most clients are eligible for online therapy. If there are any concerns, I start the treatment with a few offline sessions. For longer therapeutic processes, I alternate between offline and online sessions, which clients rate positively throughout. I have also used the program when working with children who are generally open to media offers."
